This story is crazy! You did a great job summarizing it, I want to read more! I can't believe someone would do something like that. I hope she gets punished.

ReplyDeleteThis was a nice summary of a novel news story that was attention-getting. Interestingly, in the last couple years, there have been similar scenarios reported by people who faked their abduction. Unfortunately, it costs thousands of dollars for police to try to help those people. We can only hope that law enforcement never get callused and stop believing the people in real danger who desperately need their help.
ReplyDeleteWow. I can't believe anyone in their right mind would do something like this. For only $500 too. I'm speechless.
ReplyDeleteIt's really sad when teenage drama queens get so worked up about something that they do something ridiculous and irrational like this. It's so not worth everything she's gone through, I'm sure, just to prove a point to her mother.
ReplyDeleteThat seems really weird. Wow! That's also pretty sad that she claimed to be kidnapped just to get her mother's attention.
ReplyDeletePoor girl! I hope she can get help because she obviously has emotional problems! If she doesnt get help she will play this card over and over- maybe not on such a grand scale but she will.
ReplyDeleteOdd story.I like it!

ReplyDelete• The first sentence is written in present tense, but she in not currently faking her own kidnapping. It should have been "faked".
